Most of the countries in the world are in lockdown today, and though it's ruining the economy and all kinds of business, still lockdown is a great step to contagion the novel coronavirus. The strict protocol of lockdown means that you have to stay at home, you cannot get outside to your normal life. So all you need in this lockdown is a good internet connection to watch some biggest hits online that you might haven't watched before because of your busy schedule, and some good diet to refresh your mood.

Here in this post, I have suggested some top films that will help you lighten your mood and keep feeling motivated in these tough times. Please note that these movies aren't arranged in any order and the film on no 1 position doesn't mean its better than the one at no 5. Starring the legendary actor Leonardo di Caprio, this film is about Howard Hughes, who suffers from germophobia and physical illness and tries to design a new aircraft. This is a powerful story about a successful young man. Under Martin Sorcese's direction, the story of The Aviation pioneer reveals hard-hitting facts of the human dilemma. 

7. Life of Pi

Pi Patel, being the sole human survivor while traveling to Canada, Pi finds himself in the middle of the ocean in a boat, stuck with a tiger, a hyena, and an orangutan. The struggles and adventures of Pi, added to the extraordinary portrayal of nature, along with some impressive visual effects, make the movie not only inspirational but also a visual treat.

Most people might suggest not watching this movie at such a time of the global pandemic, but if you are a movie lover and are interested to watch virus-related movies, then this is a must-watch for you. The death of Beth Emhoff and her son leads to the discovery of a deadly virus that soon turns into a worldwide pandemic. Written and directed by Christopher Nolan, Inception is undoubtedly one of the best Sci-fi films, if not the best of all time. With the insane CGI and the amazing performance by actors like Leonardo di Caprio and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, this film is definitely a masterpiece that you can watch multiple times. The film is about a thief who steals secrets by entering into the minds of others but is asked to plant someone else's idea into the mind of a target.  This film is definitely a must-watch for all age groups.

4. The Pursuit of Happyness 

Starring Will Smith and his son Jayden, this movie is based on Christopher Gardner's memoir of the same name and talks about a homeless father's struggle to give his son the life that he deserves. This is a kind of movie that will very subtly enter our lives, and leave a deep sense of hope and gratitude. You must watch this movie to know what I am talking about. If you haven't watched it yet, this is the right time to do so.

3. The Shawshank Redemption

The Shawshank Redemption tells the story of a banker Andy Dufresne's 19-year term in prison. He is arrested for the murder of his wife and her lover and is sentenced to life imprisonment at the Shawshank Prison. This film gives a strong message of friendship and perseverance and the film doesn't only escape with his escape from the prison, but also his mate, Red's redemption making this an inspiring story of hope, faith, and bonding.

2. Parasite

This movie recently received the Oscar award for Best Picture and was trending in the news all over for the same reason, so it might be a great movie for you to watch. The movie deals with the topic of greed and discrimination that disrupts the newly formed symbiotic relationship between the wealthy Park Family and the destitute Kim Clan. It would be a good time to find motivation in living life to the fullest and doing everything you really want to! Three friends take a vacation in Spain and the trip turns into an opportunity to mend fences, heal wounds, fall in love, and to combat their worse fears to truly live your life the way you should, for you won't get a chance to live your life again.
